ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
If you love elephants, then this place is for you! There are close to 600 elephants in this park and the chances of seeing them here are very high. It’s not Kruger National Park though, so you’ll probably be alone watching them from your vehicle. This is a self-drive park.
The park is one of the country’s largest national parks and now incorporates vastly different landscapes – from mountain Kalahari desert to fynbos and coastal sand dunes, which means you can see both elephants and whales in the same visit!
Prices are quoted per person and for entrance to the park only.
HOW WE RATE IT & WHY WE LIKE IT
The main camp’s waterhole is lit at night so you can see animals when it’s cooler and animals come out to play. There are plenty of activities for kids, an underground hide for game viewing and you can see the Big Five. A perfect place to spend a couple of nights.
