HOW WE RATE IT & WHY WE LIKE IT

Mpumalanga (Zulu name for "the place where the sun rises") is a province in eastern South Africa bordering the nations of Eswatini (formerly known as Swaziland) and Mozambique. It embraces the southern half of Kruger National Park and the iconic Blyde River Canyon, amongst the world's largest. Mountains, panoramic passes, valleys, rivers, waterfalls and forests characterize the landscape of this region as well as the Big Five. Come here to do bird-watching, hiking, horse-riding and fishing as well as fantastic game viewing.
